The “Big Tent” Destroying The Republican Party?

McCain is exactly what a GOP that treats the natural moral law as negotiable deserves. The natural law is the philosophical core of conservatism. Any party that abandons or downplays it becomes just another species of liberalism. Most “conservative” positions today are little more than the liberal positions of yesteryear, from Bill Clinton’s “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” policy to No Child Left Behind — a PC conservatism that Mitt Romney and McCain perfectly embody.

  1. I’ve been following the news (TV, online, radio) for awhile now and honestly I am very disheartened that Mitt bowed out; damn deal between McCain and Hucksterbee did him in. *sigh*. I don’t know precisely but I really don’t like McCain. He’s supporeted MANY liberals and their bills in Congress and the media has consistently enjoyed him (leading me to be suspicous). I am so damn tired of holding my nose when going to polls. For god’s sake how much longer is this to go on. How much longer is the truly conservative America to be forsaken?

I grant that is is slightly better than Obama and indeed better that Hillary as I believe he wont “cut and run” but honestly why can’t the sheeple get with it? Oh well, I guess we’ll see how this all turns out.
