Very true Josh. But not all of us are as succint or concise as yourself. The winded articles exist to address hopefully all of the questions or concerns those initially opposed to your system or belief.

I do agree that in a perfect world concise statements such as yours with such obvious logic to ourselves would carry their correct weight. But humans being as they are excusing and rationalizing creatures would not accept even true statements if they go against preconcieved or self-rationalized ideologies and beliefs.

Could've he just said, "In a closed system, everything that has a beginning has an end," ?

What a long and meticulous article. :S ! .

I am beginning to agree with my wife and she has ALOT more practical knowledge than even this professor... "Men just want to stick their d***s where they want to," so they don't believe in God; they want the moral latitude. For ALL of the arguments in the world over the vastness of history it ALL comes down to that. And it really shouldn't surprise us because Adam willingly disobeyed and so unto this very day it is the same. Men are to blame for the pains of this world. Men are to blame for slavery (men are naturally lazy, because they should be working), feminism (if men would've given women their due respect as human beings), homosexuality (fathers belittling their children and not showing the nature of a man), and most of it comes from being a bad father. The heavenly father created us, so we NEED a father! Our very image demands a good father (didn't say perfect). And honestly as a man and a husband and how stupid I can be sometimes, I totally agree with her. And a good man and husband would understand what I'm saying.

Now I'm not ignoring the arguments as if they mean nothing, but I'm pointing out the motive and the reasoning behind the tongue and teeth. Again I point out, the father of sin knew first hand the truth of God yet he disobeyed. If the sun offended men he'd want to rationalize why the sun doesn't exist; it is utter stupidness.

I think Christians needs to understand these arguments but I think they need more experience in conveying these ideas like Jesus Christ did. Jesus conveyed HUGE ideas in such simple, real and practical ways that even the top pharasees couldn't refute his words.

A good example is a friend of ours. He's relunctant to believe in Jesus Christ as the Bible states. He's very intelligent and a nice person. He brings up subjects that he finds interesting and such but always dancing around the truth. And guess what, it doesn't come down to the words coming out of his mouth, his unbelief and ignorance comes down to respect and trust because he didn't have a good dad; that is IT. For all the arguments and dancing he can't believe that there's a loving and good Father in heaven because he has a warped image of what a father is. If he wants to know the truth he can find it, our job is to show him that the Father is trustworthy and respectable. Sin is NOT rational, it is actually very emotional and selfish. Rational arguments are good for shoring up HONEST hearts with sincere questions.

This is the kind of well rounding WISDOM that isn't taught enough in the churches. And the only reason I know these things is because of my wife, otherwise I'd be endulging others in rational arguments and we'd be running in circles. Men are more than their minds, and it wasn't the mind that failed Adam, it was his heart, which men have continued to this day ignoring and denying.
